She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Cates; her parents, Emmitt Pettit and Lucy Pettit; and her brother Daryl. She is survived by: her daughter Wendy Waddell (Cates); her grandchildren, Gregory, Justin, Madison and Samantha Waddell; her great grandchild Anna Pettit; and her brother Kenny Pettit.
