He was predeceased by: his parents, Luka Welch and Nora Welch (Spears); his wife Barbara Morrison; his sister Sharon Grass; and his niece Sherry Grass.

He is survived by: his brothers, Gary and Marvin; his children, Clifton Moore, Christie Moore, William Moore and Shawn Moore; his grandchildren, Marice Leopard, Joshua Moore, Micah Moore, Amanda Moore and Aril Moore; and his niece Angie Grass.
