With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Jean Shook of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 23, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James R. Mattox and Katie Mattox; her husband Robert Shook; her son Andrew Clayton Shook; and her siblings, Arthur Franklin, Andrew Mattox, Don Mattox, Helen Rutherford and Virginia Mattox.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Lynn; her son-in-law Terry Pool of Splendora, Texas; her grandchildren, Andrew Clayton Shook Jr., Amanda Shook, Felicia Shook, Joseph Shook, Angela Scott, Joshua Winters, Cami Baker and Courtney Moore; and her daughter-in-law Joni Shook of Atoka. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
