It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Brittain of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, born in Stigler, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 3, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Houston Brittain and Eunice Brittain (Wortham); his son Johnny Brittain; and his siblings, C. W., Archie, Gerald and Annabelle Riddle.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his children, Houston Wayne Brittain (Jennifer) and Stacy Barnett (Bryan) of Quinton, OK.; his sisters, Bertlynn Cunningham and Iva Johnnie Smith of Tulsa, OK.; and his grandchildren, Bailey Cooper, Brooklynn Cooper, Linton Gorman, Brittany Cooper, Shane Brittain, Colby Brittain, Nora Brittain and Brady Ray of Tulsa, OK.. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives.
