He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Parnell and Sue Parnell (Pettit); and his siblings, Faye, Pauline, Elizabeth, Betty, Andy and Sam Parnell.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Anderson; his children, Jackie Parnell (Ed Spears) and Mitch; his daughter-in-law Sharon Chambers-Parnell; his child Jan Parnell-Grant; his grandchildren, Michelle Parnell-Newton (Josh), Kylie Parnell-Kinsey (Corey), Bethany Parnell-Wheeler (Matt), Kaleb Parnell, Breque Parnell-Bellman (Elmer), Kaelyn Grant-Shirey (Ron) and Ben Grant; his stepgrandchildren, Brent Hoffman and Christina Stewart; and his siblings-in-law, Ron Anderson, Sharon Seratt and Linda Burns. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
