With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glennis J. Parker of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 12, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Glennis is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Glennis' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benny Byron and Bertha Ellen Hughes (Dickens). She is survived by: her husband George J. Parker; her daughter Becky LeAnn Powers (Parker); her grandchildren, Parker W. Bergman and Darci D. Bergman (Paul Sutherland); her great grandchildren, Leonardo and Sophia Love Sutherland; her sister Alice R. Lucas; and her siblings-in-law, Sandra Hughes and Norman Parker (Sharon). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Reed-Culver Funeral Home (117 W Delaware St, Tahlequah, OK 74464).
