He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Juanita Sanders (Hutchinson) and Jack Sanders; his siblings, Jackie Sanders, Mary Sanders, Norma "Ruth" Warren (Ruth), Juanita Siedlick and Roberta Sanders; and his grandchildren, Malachi Thomas and Haiden Lambeth.

He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Thomas (Ashley Harris) of Tahlequah, OK, Destiny Reather of Muskogee, OK and Valory Reather of Muskogee, OK.; his siblings, Gary Sanders (Rowena) of Tahlequah, OK, Nadine Mathews of Coweta, OK and Gloria Houston (William) of Tahlequah, OK.; his grandchildren, Gunner Thomas, Alexis Thomas, Xzavier Reather, Zeppelin Reather, Claire Smith, Carmen Baquera and Catori Baquera; and his son-in-law Edward Thomas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
