He was predeceased by: his parents, George William and Katherine Ghramm (Sowden); his grandchild Gailann; his daughter Gailann; and his stepbrother Sam Bristow.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Garner; his son Michael Bristow of Dallas; and his stepbrother John Janovy of Nebraska.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation to the Humane Society of Tahlequah.
