He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Victor and Mae Glad (Kerr); his wife Ethel Glad; his grandson Jeremy Glad; and his great grandchild Candis Gross.

He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Jean Glad of Edmond, Judith Ann Glad of Oklahoma City and Johnnie Ray Glad (Penny) of Tahlequah. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
