He was predeceased by: his parents, Caroline Starr and Joel Bryan Mayes Starr of Tahlequah, OK.; his wife Margaret Kinkade Starr; and his siblings, Bobbie Stauss, Margaret Reed, Lucy Henry, Jack Starr and Jim Starr.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Starr of New York City, John Starr of Houston, TX, Joel Starr of Washington, DC and Jason Starr of Tulsa, OK.
