Mardy Shaber-Hall wrote a sympathy message

“I am a retired hospice RN & in that role I 1st had the pleasure of getting to know Don. He was ever so tuned in to his patients needs & worked compassionately with them & their loved ones. Don also treated nurses with the utmost respect, accepting our patient status reports, listening to our suggestions, and always willing to answer any questions we might have. Years later we became Facebook friends where I got acquainted with his delightful wit! A truly wonderful man. I'll surely miss him.”
