He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cecil and Ann Lee Hardman (King); his daughters, Marissa "Punkin" Ann and Michelle Morning Star Nofire; his siblings, Bill Hardman and Cecelia Scott; and his uncle Jack Hardman.

He is survived by: his pets, Harriet Potter, Caleigh, Baby Gaga, Lightning, Cricket, Morris, Effa Lusti, Lola and G. T.; his wife Ellen Carol Wakamatsu; his sisters, Carol Ann Bartlett of Norman, OK, Cynthia Ann Hardman of Claremore, OK, Elizabeth Ann Hardman of Tahlequah, OK and Patricia Ann Hardman of Norman, OK.; his grandchildren, Nakiah Morning Star Nofire of Stilwell, OK, Aleah Raye Cloud of Tahlequah, Aliveah Jayde Cloud of Tahlequah and Larry Kala Nofire III (Allyvia Sabaque) of New Mexico; and his great grandchildren, Kalani Raine and Kenai Michael Sabaque Nofire. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
