He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Gifford and Ruby June Gifford (Shade); and his brother Marion "Bub" Gifford. He is survived by: his siblings, Miles "Wahoo", Maurice "Buster", Shirley "Sis" and Norma "Jeannie"; his wife Velva Lynn Gifford; his daughters, Sonya Lynn Brixey-Cornwell (Thomas R. Brixey) of Tahlequah, OK and Deanna Grossarth (Kent Grossarth) of Tahlequah, OK.; his siblings, Miles Gifford (Sharon) of Lost City, Leroy Gifford (Trish) of Woodall, OK, Maurice Gifford (Penny) of Lost City, Shirley Pruett (Tommy) of Tulsa, OK, Norma Findahl (Roger) of Cleveland, OK and Georgia Mae Bowlin (Terry) of Hulbert, OK.; his grandchildren, Taylor Paige O'Laughlin (Charles Bumgarner II), Madelyn Nicole O'Laughlin, Glennis Ann Cornwell and Elouise Michelle Cornwell; and his great grandchild Charles Bumgarner III.
