He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Jane Nicholas (Cole) and Frank Nicholas; his former wife Betty Wilkey; his wife Wanda Lawson Nicholas; his stepson Richard Warren; his grandchildren, Tracy Reagan and Brandon Warren; and his brothers, Franklin "Sonny" David Nicholas, Lester Irving Nicholas, Ernest Gene Nicholas and Cecil James Nicholas.
He is survived by: his sister Susie May Nicholas Buford of Wagoner, OK; his children, Roberta Oliver (Donald) of Wagoner and James Irving Nicholas of Adair, OK; his stepchildren, Sue Nichols (Dale) of Hulbert, OK, Curtis Warren (Sandra) of Locust Grove, OK, Donna Warren of Wagoner and Marcia Moore (Gary) of Broken Arrow, OK.; and his great great grandchildren, Katelynn, Kelton and Kia.
