Billy K. Yates Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billy K. Yates of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 9, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kelley Yates and Lucille Yates (Milner); and his daughter Cynthia Ann Yates. He is survived by: his wife Carol Yates; his children, Darrell Yates (Kimberly) of Muskogee, Teresa Gandara (Danny) of Choctaw and Jeff Yates (Shawna) of Bixby; his grandchildren, Austin Yates (Jessica) of Jenks, Zach Yates of Tulsa, Jordan Jones (Clayton) of Richardson, TX, Taylor Stallard (Chas) of Choctaw, Jake Gandara of Edmond, Allison Yates of Edmond and Camille Yates of Edmond; and his great grandchildren, Rilynn, Kynnli, Aubrie, Carter Yates and Cal Stallard. He is also survived by other family members and many friends.

A burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Kingfisher Cemetery. A memorial service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (111 S 7th St, Muskogee, OK 74401).
