She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Nickels and Cora Nickels (Turner); her husband Charles Maurice Epperley; and her siblings, Delena Monroe (Nickels) and Ray Nickels.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Epperley of Tahlequah and Gary Epperley; her son-in-law Marcus Phelps-Munson of San Jose; and her brothers, Boyd of Mead and Ron (Teri Nickels) of Durant. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown's Funeral Service - Durant (4900 W Hwy 70, Durant, OK 74701). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
