He was predeceased by: his parents, Lilian Vickrey and Tom Vickrey; and his brother David Thompson. He is survived by: his in-laws, Boyd (Marguerite Perry) and Marguerite Perry; his daughters, Gene and Pam; his wife Pam Perry (Pam Thompson); his daughters, Sheila Thompson and Jennifer Cook (Terry); his grandchildren, Conner Gene Thompson (Kim Ava Nikole) and Jesse Nikolas Robert; his great grandchildren, Layla Marie, Jordan Gene and Baker Tate Thompson; and his siblings-in-law, Vicki Rennie and Boyd "Glynn" Perry (Valinda).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DeArman/Pickard Funeral Home (305 W Smith St, Stratford, OK 74872). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blanchard Church of Christ (1220 N Madison Ave, Blanchard, OK 73010).
