He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Cottrell and Rosa Lee Cottrell (Baker); his sister Marynevus; his daughter Janice Cottrell (Keith); and his brothers, Doyle Ray, Raymond Deril and Arlon Laroy Cottrell.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Cottrell (Brandon); his children, Jana Frady (Trampus), Stephanie Cottrell of Norman, OK., Eugene Hawkins (Stella) of Wynnewood, OK., Jason Tinnin, Heath Tinnin and Tisha Drew (Tinnin); his siblings, Orville Cottrell (Becky) of Stratford, OK. and Laveta Summer (Mack) of Ada, OK.; and his sister-in-law Jean Cottrell of Amarillo.
