He was predeceased by: his parents, J. T. Fennell and Ida Fennell (Choate); his son Jack Ivey, Jr.; his grandson Logan Grinstead; and his siblings, Lottie Mae Fennell, Faye Fritts, Margie Antonopolis, Bill Fennell, Marshall Fennell and Monroe Fennell.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Angie Ivey of Sulphur, Tammy Grinstead of Sulphur and Robby Fennell of Norman; his grandchildren, Amber Fennell, Tosha Fennell, Beau Fennell and Megan Grinstead; and his brothers, Bob Fennell (Bobbie) of Ada and John Fennell of Clifton Park, NY.. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
