He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Phillips and Grace Phillips (Drake); and his brother Steve Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his sons, Scott Phillips (Debbie) of Vacaville, CA and Jason Phillips (Tanya) of Austin, TX; his grandchildren, Adele Phillips (Trevor), Trai Phillips (Kate), Cory Phillips, Carson Phillips, Tyler Phillips and Miles Phillips; and his brother Bill Phillips of Sulphur.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Cornerstone Methodist Church in Sulphur, or to the American Parkinson's Association.
