She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas and Mamie Lee Hefley (Howard); her daughter Vicki Lynn Parenti (Buffington); her son-in-law Jackie Smith; and her siblings, Donna Dimple Buffington, Mary Norwood, Dorothy Timmons, Iva Nell Ruggs-Pletcher, Delma Ann Wilson, Howard of Robert, R. L. and Joe Bill Hefley.

She is survived by: her daughter Donna D. Smith of Sulphur; her brothers, James Hefley, Jr. of Davis and Jerry Don Hefley of Davis; and her grandchildren, Kari Lynn Haywood (Herachio), Judy Parks (Jack) and Jay Standifer (Karen). She is also survived by great-great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews.
