She was predeceased by: her parents, John Richard and Carlene Mildred Long, Jr. (Burleson); and her sisters, Johnelle Long and Brenda Cavins (Long). She is survived by: her former husband James T Johnson; her husband Terry Johnson; her sons, BJ Johnson (Jennifer) and Boone Johnson (Lauren); her grandchildren, Brycelynn Robledo (Danny), Brialey Sherrell (Taw), Remington Johnson, Kenleigh Johnson, Addison Johnson and Maggie Johnson; her great grandchildren, Mila Robledo and Sadee Sherrell; her nephew Chris Cavins (Carrie); her niece Sabrina Breazeale (Ed); and her great-nephews, Quentin and Finn.
