He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Davis and Fay Davis; and his sisters, Marveline Schreiner, Ozella Crawford, Kathleen Carpenter, Laura Alice Moses and Nancy Womack.
He is survived by: his wife Miammia J. Davis; his children, Don Brown of Pauls Valley, J. D. Taliferro of Noble, Keith Taliferro of Norman, Sherry Amos of Moore and Terrie Booker of Friendswood; and his brother Elmer Davis of Washington. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
