He was predeceased by: his father Floyd Waylon Sloan; and his siblings, Janice Kay Nielsen and Steven Wayne Hargrove. He is survived by: his mother Glenda Joyce Sloan (Griffin) of Stuart; his sons, Michael Sloan of Houston and Johnathan Sloan of Houston; his brother-in-law Roger Nielsen; and his nieces and nephews, Caleb Nielsen, Noah Hargrove, Laken Nielsen and Chelsea Hargrove.
