He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tackett and Mary Ann Tackett (Tucker); and his siblings, Olen Tackett, Jerry Tackett, Bill Tackett, Floyd Tackett, Johnny Tackett, Kit Campbell, Betty Clark and Pansy Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Benson (Hughes); his children, Michael Tackett of Oklahoma City, Terry Tackett of Missouri, Steve Tackett of Missouri, Vickie Zolghadri (Ali) of Georgia, Bob Benson of Oklahoma City and Valary Benson of Oklahoma City; his grandchildren, Tisha VonCuten, Ethan Tackett, Kendra Tackett, Ashley Tackett and Shireen Zolghadri; and his siblings, Fred Tackett (Suzie) of Jackfork, OK, Ida Penny of Bartlesville and JoAnn McCord of Holdenville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other family members, and many friends.
