He is survived by : his wife Judy; his children, James Stephens (Kim), Jena Lynch (Clay), Jason Stephens (Tina) and Jared Stephens; his grandchildren, Jana Love (Justin), Jinger, Trent, Jordan, Conner, Abigail, Charlie and Jared; and his great grandchildren, Gunner and Emmy.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church. The inurnment was held on Sunday, June 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery.
