We bid farewell to Virginia Keturah Brown (Stroud, Oklahoma), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 28, 2025 at the age of 95. Virginia Keturah touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucius Terrell Rogers and Mildred Juanita (Hearn); her husband Bill Brown; her siblings, Edward, Junior, Sarah Nell, Tommy and Sydney; and her grandson Neal Allen Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Suzy (Bryan Hightower) of Brown's Lake, Ginger (Jeff Barsotti) of Edmond and Tammy (Jimmy Smith) of Brown's Lake; her family Sooners; and her caregivers, Sharon Mitchell, Janice Dervin, Sam Miller and Kendra Walker. She is also survived by six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church of Stroud (323 W 4th St, Stroud, OK 74079).
