He is survived by: his wife Tonette Jenell Ponkilla (Arkeketa); his daughters, Tania Jene Ponkilla (Rico Jessepe) and Emmily Ann Fixico; his adoptive daughter Rica Jessepe; his goddaughter Shelsie Whitethunder; his grandchildren, Quinton James Jessepe, Tarah Janee Jessepe, Mariah Jenell Jessepe, Carter Mark-Zane Ponkilla, Lucas Wade Meely and Stonie Fixico; and his siblings, Loretta Ponkilla, Jeffery Ponkilla, Brenda Gail Ponkilla, Diane Ponkilla, Dennis Keahna Jr., Steve Franklin, Loren Davenport, Thomas Whitethunder, Jonas Cecil and Chip Walker.
