It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Emma Jane Soward (Stroud, Oklahoma), born in Anderson, Indiana, who passed away on February 2, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyman Carter and Harriet Carter (Coulter); her husbands, Russell Soward and Eldio Roddy; and her brothers, Frankie, Johnnie, Lee, Ray and Chalen.
She is survived by: her friends, Mary Jo Hicks, Lavina Hinman, Pat Posky, Carlas Ward and Lorraine Cody; her brother Eldon Carter (Anna Mae); her children, Terry Crofford and Gary Soward (Jana); her grandchildren, Chance Soward, Aaron Soward (Melinda) and Rachel Crofford Thiel (Derrick); and her great grandchildren, Alyssa, Ayden, Aaron, Henry, Talulah and Flynn. She is also survived by Momma leaves behind many other family members, her church family, dear and special friends.
