It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Farmer of Stringtown, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 17, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Lee and Hattie Lue Cole (Simpson); her husband John Farmer; her son Blair Holstine; her siblings, Eldon Cole, Frank Cole, Eulis Cole, James Cole and Effie George; her nephew Roy Cole; and her niece Verna Mae Barnett.
She is survived by: her former husband James Hosltine; her children, Anita Farmer of Stringtown, OK and Blaine Holstine (Leslie) of Stringtown, OK; her grandchildren, Johnathan Farmer (Nikkina) of Sulphur, OK, Taylor Elliott (Bradley) of Tushka, OK, Rechell Ward of Drumright, OK, Tara Moore (Joey) of Clinton, OK, Kara Slay of Greenville, TX, Jimmy Wayne Holstine (Mendy) of Atoka, OK, Jamey Holstine (Laci) of Atoka, OK, Chris Frazier (Melissa) of Atoka, OK, James Franklin of Lewisville, TX, Kristy Farmer of Lewisville, TX and Teresa William of Lewisville, TX; and her daughter-in-law Nelda Holstine of Stringtown, OK. She is also survived by 30 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
