Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Hollis Packer Gallup Jr. (Stratford, Oklahoma), born in Hennessey, Oklahoma, who passed away at the age of 93, on September 2, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollis Gallup and Flossie Gallup; his brothers, Pat Gallup and Joseph Gallup; and his great grandchild Shelby Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Kevin Gallup of Stratford, Oklahoma, Steve Gallup of Stratford, Oklahoma, Karen Masterson (Jerald) of Purcell and Cathy Pryor (Gary) of Stratford, Oklahoma; his stepdaughters, Jerri Wood of Madison and Sheila Winn of Edmond, Oklahoma; his sister Mildred Norcross of Stillwater; and his sister-in-law Leora Gallup. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
During his lifetime, Hollis survived the Dust Bowl, the Great Depression, World War II and most recently the Pandemic.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma or the First Baptist Church Building Fund in Stratford, OK.
