He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Meeks and Cherokee Meeks (Taylor); his brother Michael Meeks; his nephew Lucas Meeks; his brothers, James Meeks and Gerald R. Meeks; his sisters-in-law, Twana Jo Meeks and Lila Meeks; and his nephew Logan Meeks.
He is survived by: his daughter Sharae Meeks Fisher; his son-in-law Willie Fisher; his grandsons, Granger and Stetson Fisher of Independence, KS; his siblings, Dale (Patricia Meeks), Robert (Alecia Meeks), Glen Meeks of Stilwell, OK, Joe Meeks of Stilwell, OK and Glenda (James Ledbetter); and his close friend Chris Cook of Siloam Springs, AR.. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
