She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Coles and Martha Coles. She is survived by: her husband Virgil Holmes; her sister Janey (Dave Holmes); her children, Michael (Cindy Holmes) and Renee Baldridge of Bunch; and her grandchildren, Sandra (Bill Thirsty) of Marble City, Shannon (CJ Scott) of Welling, Oklahoma., Brandon, Ethan, Gracie, Jeremy, Joel, Latisha, Molly, Nikki, Shana, Shania, Tiffany and Trenton. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
