He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Thomas and Anna Mae Thomas (Vanderheiden); his wife Wanda Thomas; his daughter Vicki Green; and his siblings, Claudie Wood, Nadine Scraper, Verdie Campbell and Bill Thomas.

He is survived by: his children, Randy Thomas (Jessica) of Stilwell and Deana Waterdown (Thomas) of Stilwell; his siblings, Audrey Means (Willie) of Stilwell and L. D. Thomas (Glenda) of Stilwell; his grandsons, Dustin Green, Travis Jon Thomas, Tyler Evan Thomas and Steven Ray Thomas; and his great grandchildren, Brycee Thomas, Braxton Thomas, Evan Thomas and Chandler Thomas. He is also survived by Numerous friends and other relatives.
