She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ellison and Elizabeth Mefford (Chavers); her siblings, Leon Ellison, Kenneth Greenhaw, Jimmy Greenhaw, Louise Cully, Florence Massey, Imogene King and Donna Hughes; and her grandson David Guthrie.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Cross (Linda) of Cookson, Oklahoma, Christopher Cross (Christine) of Conway, Arkansas, Johnny Cross of Riverdale and Susan Hall (Bobby) of Clarksville, Arkansas; and her siblings, Doyle Mefford of Clarksville, Arkansas and Jacolyn Pelts of Lamar, Arkansas. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel (509 W Main St, Clarksville, AR 72830). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at the Knoxville Cemetery (277 Cabin Creek Rd, Knoxville, AR 72845).
