He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bennett and Bertha Cockrell Bennett; his wife Marilyn Bennett (Youssi); and his sisters, Nina Burnett and Hazel Mask.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Bennett (Christy) of Mississippi, Donald Gibson of Mendota, IL, Jason Gibson of Mendota, IL, Nickie Ashbrook (John) of Temple, TX and Sean Bennett of Stilwell, OK; his brothers, Herschel Bennett (Carolyn) of Nettleton, MS and Terry Bennett of Nettleton, MS; his cousins, Dennis Miles (Marilyn) of Stillwell, OK and Annette Tucker of Canehill, AR; and his nieces, Lisa Minor (Kyle) of Copperas Cove, TX and Andrea Youssi of Spring Valley, IL. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
