She was predeceased by: her parents, James Grigsby and Nancy Grigsby; her husband Elgie Alec; her siblings, Dorothy Hogner, Virginia Guttillo, Roy Grigsby, Winford "Sonny" Grigsby and Donald "Bud" Grigsby; and her grandson Daniel.
She is survived by: her children, David Alec, Michael Grigsby (Alec), Sherri Horbath (Alec), Kimberly Alec and Pamela Alec-Adams; and her grandchildren, Keenan Riddle, Kevin Alec, Tabby Grigsby, Nes Grigsby, Monica Houston, Tonya Schaefer, Jason Riley, LaDonna Wynn, Scott Hunt, Cathy Hunt, Timothy Hunt, Sara Hipp and Madelin Adams. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
