He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacie Christie and Louise Christie (Ross); his wife Linda Kirk; his brother Harvey; his stepfather Robert Springwater; and his brothers-in-law, Cornelius Frogg and Donald McDaniel.
He is survived by: his former wife Edith Buck; his children, Christine (Mike Pennington), Clarence (Brandy Kreger), Brandy (Zach Scates) and Calvin Christie II (Big); his grandchildren, Hailie, Walker and Paislee; and his sisters, Betty Frogg (Steve Jones) and Barbara McDaniel (Rick Adair).
