We are sad to announce that on November 9, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Bobby Lee Swepston of Stilwell, Oklahoma, born in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Bobby Lee may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bobby Lee touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, R. L. Sweptson and Jayne Sweptson; his brother Jay Sweptson; and his stepson David Allen. He is survived by: his wife Charlene; and his children, Robert Sweptson, Sarlynn Sweptson, Coinda Sweptson, Barbara Bushnell and Brenda Dumler-Brown. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and a host of loving friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church (306 N 2nd St, Stilwell, OK 74960). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at the Downing Cemetery.
