He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas L. Rhoads and Lela Rhoads Brankle (Taylor); his wife Norma Nelson; and his daughter Teresa Rabe. He is survived by: his children, Mona Sholtess of Enid, Karen Mills of Broken Arrow and Rusty Rhoads (Rita) of Stillwater; his grandchildren, Christie File (Clay), Ronnie Rabe, Bryon Stevens, Sherri Parks (Jason), Dustin Sholtess (Lacey), Rocky Rhoads, Richelle Wingo (Joel) and Robyn Stanley (Jason); his great grandchildren, Cole File (Chelsea), Cami Herod (Austin), Seth Parks (Alivia), Destiny Hood (Austin), Kaylee Parks, Josey Sholtess, Ava Wingo, Emma Wingo, Eli Wingo, Logan Stanley, Anniston Stanley and Remington Stanley; and his great great grandchildren, Kensington Herod and Casen File.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Calvary Assembly of God (2315 E McElroy Rd, Stillwater, OK 74074). A burial was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (2755 Downs Ave, Woodward, OK 73801).
