He was predeceased by: his parents, John Roy and Velma Jean Herndon (Wynn). He is survived by: his sister Regina Herndon; his niece Kelly Jean O'Shea (Phillip); his great-niece Paige O'Shea Waterfield (Taylor); his great-nephews, Dylan O'Shea and Chris O'Shea; and also, Lila, Payton, Grace, Charles and Charlotte.
