He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Gottfried and Ida Gottfried (Shelton). He is survived by: his wife Sherry Lucas; his nephew Kenneth (Bridget); his siblings, Cleo Gottfried of Perry, Randy Gottfried of Newkirk, Stoney Gottfried (Cheryl) of Tryon, Cecil Gottfried of Enid, Lloyd Gottfried of Stillwater, Stormy Gottfried of Queen City, Texas, Barbara Bloom of Stillwater and Shirley Schwandt of Stillwater; and his close friends, J. W. Lafollete, Mike Lafollete and Jim Hargrove.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church West 26th (722 W 26th Ave, Stillwater, OK 74074).
