She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Potts and Rachel Potts; her husband Charles Prickett; her siblings, Gene Potts, Roy Potts, June Bell, Paul Potts, Bill Potts, Annabelle Baker, Mary Baker, Betsy Muro and Vesta Potts; her daughters, Linda Cockrell and Sharla LaFollette; her son-in-law Gary LaFollette; and her grandchildren, Taz LaFollette, Kris LaFollette and Misty Cockrell.
She is survived by: her brother Jerry Potts; and her children, Lawton Brightwell (Judy) of Stillwater, Janice Dewell (Dave) of Tulsa, Kent Prickett (Carol) of Stillwater, Cindy Frame (Tony) of Perkins and Tammy Bevel (Mark) of Meridian, Idaho. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Stillwater - Dighton Marler Funeral Home (5106 N Washington St, Stillwater, OK 74075). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM at the Woodland Cemetery (105 W Caddo St, Cleveland, OK 74020). Later, Peggy moved to Stillwater, spending several years there before transitioning to Perry Nursing Home during the global pandemic.
