He was predeceased by : his parents, Chester Cook and Lucille Cook; his grandson Casey Nicholson; and his siblings, Jim Cook, Pat Williams, Glenda Hall, Dennis Cook, Gary Cook and Brenda Cook Hayes.

He is survived by : his wife Kay Cook of Stillwater; his children, Connie Nicholson (Richard Nicholson), JoAnna Mitchell (Stephen Mitchell), Carolyn Flynn and Russell Cook (Nikki Cook); and his grandchildren, Andrew Mitchell (Miranda Mitchell), McKayla Cook, Ashlynn Towne (Andrew Towne), Meagan Nicholson, Corbin Flynn, Aubree Nicholson, Jayda Cook, Alex Mitchell, Rustyn Cook and Millie Flynn.

A funeral service was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Davenport First Baptist Church (625 Santa Fe Rd, Davenport, OK 74026).
