It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvell Story of Stillwater, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy H Copeland and Hazel Leah Wood (Joe Story); her sister Agatha Richardson; and her nieces and nephews, Abigail Longest, Monica and Jesse Holton Copeland.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Story; her children, Wendolyn Collins (Gary) of Ardmore, OK, Cynthia Low (Tom) of Stillwater, OK, Boyd Story (Sylvia) of Norfolk, VA and Lloyd Story of Stillwater, OK; her grandchildren, Angela Smee (Randall) of Marietta, OK, Tommy Low Jr. (Katarina) of Denton, TX, Katrina Gonzalez (Miguel) of Ardmore, OK, Rocky Low of Lexington, KY, Cody Low (Brooke) of Yale, OK, Nicole Conover (Arthur) of Fairfax, VA, Austin Story (Danielle Vernon) of Wilson, OK and Parker Story of Stillwater, OK; her siblings, Loretta Parrott (Eddy) of Lone Grove, OK, Deloris Gray (Roger) of Wilson, OK, Anita Davis of Wilson, OK, Belinda Self (Scott) of Leon, OK, James Copeland (Shirley) of Wilson, OK and Herman Copeland (Sandi) of Wilson, OK; and her siblings-in-law, Houston Story of Shawnee, OK, Jerry Richardson of Wilson, OK and Rachel Seelye of Moore, OK. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, numerous nephews, nieces, other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (1384 8th St, Wilson, OK 73463). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Wilson (1384 8th St, Wilson, OK 73463).
