He was predeceased by: his parents, James N. Leverich and Imogene Leverich (Hopkins); his wife Mary; and his siblings, Darrell, Bob, Donnie and Vere O'Bryant.
He is survived by: his children, John Leverich Jr. (Angela) and Dorothy Bailey (Jake); and his siblings, James, Larry, Gary and Georgia. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
