With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Bigham Newsome in Stillwater, Oklahoma, born in Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on March 12, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his son Ashley (Brooke); his grandchild Kade; his daughter Taylor (Justin); his great grandchildren, Kennedy and Colt; his son Jeff (Beverly); and his grandchildren, Sara, Anna and Jack.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Stillwater - Dighton Marler Funeral Home (5106 N Washington St, Stillwater, OK 74075).
