He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Ervin Hughes and Ruby Layton (Burnside); his siblings, Mercine Hughes, Harry Hughes, Margaret Graham, Robert Layton and Mary Ellen Hughes; his daughter Tamara Reeves; his granddaughter Amanda Reeves; and his son-in-law C. W. Terrell.
He is survived by: his wife Anita; his children, Bulinda Terrell of Perkins, Cynthia Hudson (Brady) of Ripley, Deborah Herrmann of Perkins, Loyd Hughes and Pamela Johnson of Perry; and also Marty Reeves of Carnegie. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Stillwater - Dighton Marler Funeral Home (5106 N Washington St, Stillwater, OK 74075).
