He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Klemens Szlichta of Plainfield and Florence Dorothy Szlichta of New York. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Ramsey of Stillwater; his children, Christian Whitney (Barrett Whitney) of Honolulu and Jared Szlichta (Lori Kastl) of Stillwater-Perkins; his stepdaughter Jennifer Hanson (Jason Hanson) of Stillwater, Oklahoma.; and his grandchildren, Isla Whitney, Isaac Szlichta, Hailey Kastl, Madison Kastl, Kori Kastl, Kodi Kastl, Jack Hanson, Jett Hanson and Jaylee Hanson.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Stillwater (400 W 7th Ave, Stillwater, OK 74074).
