We bid farewell to Carolyn Elizabeth McKelvey (Stillwater, Oklahoma), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 14, 2025 at the age of 87. Carolyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. Slover Sr. and Hazel E. Slover (Traweek); her brothers, James A "Jim" Slover Jr., George W. "Duke" Slover and John T. "Stoney" Slover; and her siblings-in-law, Liz McKelvey and Rowland E. Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Andy (Irene McKelvey) of Stillwater and Maggie (Rance Johnson) of Bethany; her granddaughter Lisa McKelvey of Olathe, KS; her husband David McKelvey of Tulsa; her great grandchild Bea Marie Yates of Bethany; and her sisters-in-law, Harriett "Sissy" Smith of Bartlesville and Kay McKelvey of Allen, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (711 N Country Club Rd, Stillwater, OK 74075).
